Here’s the interview where he said that War Heroes was his last comic to film until after Ultimate Avengers:

Surprising as it is for me to find myself defending Millar, he might get away with it on the basis that Chosen was first printed a few years ago (under a slightly different name), so it’s not really ‘new’. In fact, it’s a reworking of his old 1980s series Saviour, so it’s far from new. But the hype machine does seem to be set to run one louder for Mr M a lot of the time, I fear…
